About The Garden Farmacy 2025 Vegetable Share Program

Each week, your farmers create a carefully-curated Vegetable Share based on what is in season on the farm. A unique selection of seasonal, chemical-free vegetables, fruits and herbs are harvested, washed, packed and delivered to you, directly from The Garden Farmacy! We like to say that each weekly share contains enough fresh produce to prepare 3-4 delicious and nutritious vegetable meals for a family of 4-5 people, or 2-3 veggie lovers, to enjoy! Vegetable shares may also include flower bouquets, grown and arranged on the farm, as well as unique experimental crops like bitter melon or burdock root (a famous Japanese veggie).

This year, we are excited to offer a very convenient pick up location for your Veggie Share! The vegetable share program pick-up is located at Enhanced Wellness Living in Ridgeland, Mississippi. We love our decade-long collaboration with Enhanced Wellness Living and all the wonderful work they do. Our missions go hand in hand, making our pick up location at Enhanced Wellness Living such a natural fit.

We are excited to announce that our Spring 2025 Veggie Share program is now available! This is our 11th growing season as organic farmers in the greater Jackson, Mississippi area – we are truly thankful for all of your support over the years. Farming is a way of life for the two (now three) of us and we take your support to heart. Your support allows us to continue on our journey and dream of working the land and providing for the community we call home.

We feel confident when we say that our produce is top notch. We have spent a great deal of time and resources boosting the quality of our soil using organic soil amendments – to improve our soil’s health, structure and thus its ability to hold more minerals, nutrients and natural rainwater, which are then utilized by the vegetable plants and then transferred to the consumer (quite literally). This is the primary source of true, absorbable nutrition for the human body.

We consider this soil-enhancing aspect of our organic farming practices as a great example of what makes our farm unique and a direct benefit to our Veggie Share members. We also consider it the foundation of truly mindful farming. When you join our farm, this nutrition and intention makes it directly to your dinner table as well as all of the benefits that come with it. As our farm continues to diversify and expand, we have our fingers crossed about new crops that could make their way into your Spring Veggie Shares! Of course, this is weather-dependent, but we have certainly put in a great effort to do all that we can to ensure the possibility of new and delicious harvests this year.

Spring 2025 Vegetable Shares

Our Spring 2025 Vegetable Shares will run for eight (8) consecutive weeks, from early-April through the late-May. The assortment of produce in each Spring Vegetable Share will vary from week to week, consisting of 6 or more (or a double portion) of the following items each week:

Pick-up at Enhanced Wellness Living in Ridgeland, Mississippi

(Tuesday afternoons, 4:30pm - 5:30pm)

Vegetable Shares will be available for weekly pick-up on Tuesday afternoons, from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM outside of Enhanced Wellness Living in Ridgeland, MS. This location allows us to provide a safe, outdoor, curbside pick-up site for you and your family. Itʼs also perfectly located for grabbing a drink or bite to eat at one of the several nearby restaurants!
